hottie tottie Auddy :) (and other things)

i'm behind on blogging the things i've been up to.
surprise, surprise! (not)
but here's a short, to-the-point recap

mookie is still the cutest and most adorable little man i know
he loves to give me hugs & kisses while eating breakfast - precious
and this morning, he crawled into my lap, wrapped his still oh-so chubby arms around my neck, patted me on the back and then gave me kisses all on his own!
you're jealous, i know.

(sorry, it was kinda dark this morning)
when i got back from running this morning,
these little (drama) queens were in my bed
love my sweet sweet girls

i found a hat pattern that i LLOOOOVVEE!
deep enough to come down over my ears!
i hate shallow hats.
coolest part??
they are 100% upcycled!!
every bit of that buckness is from clothes that my bff/model no longer fits in
because she's getting S-K-I-N-N-Y!!
she's lost 50 pounds so far and not stopping!!
i'm so proud!!

now, for hottie tottie Auddy...
she's my buddy bud that asked me to make her a "surprise zippered pouch"
and this is what my brain came up with.
gimme one sec whilst i pat myself on the back YET AGAIN
because i L-L-L-LOVE it!!

it has so many things that i love
houndstooth. gray. yellow. floral. and a bow tie.

then i made this sweet little ruffled card holder
business cards. store cards. i.d. whatever.

love it!!

want one??
i'll totally make you one too!
zippered pouches are $13 in the shop
(free shipping code SCHOOL)
and card holders are not yet listed but i'll whip one up for ya for $7 shipped!

One-of-A-Kind Custom Order for Chris

my friend Chris found this awesome saying
and we made it into a purse :)

not sure if you knew this,
but i've got a thing for a good mustache ;)

the small detail work was well worth the time
for the end result

one zippered pocket
(new for me)

and of course a patch pocket for phone, pens, etc.

i LOVE custom orders!!

have something in mind that you've always wanted
but that no one carries/makes??

yeah, me too.
let's get together on that, shall we? :)

i've been working on...

i have a new adorable little niece!
so naturally i wanted to make something for her :)

onesie dress
(forgot to rotate it after uploading it to my computer and now i can't figure out how to fix it. not that i've tried really hard, cause i haven't but oh well.)
removable flower pin

and matching shoes of course!
i just forgot the headband, dang!

{betcha can't guess her name!!}
this blanket was a first try
and i need some practice, methinks.
but if you don't look closely at the stitching on the bias tape
it's pretty dang cute.
side note: i do NOT enjoy making bias tape.
i used this tutorial for the blanket!

the 'mookie' behind Little Mookie

crazy, floofy hair always does what it wants
and we're absolutely growing it out long and shaggy!

i could just eat his face!
i love this boy!

his shirt says
cause he is
(and yes, i had to look at the picture to spell it) :P

most precious boy in my heart
{my cup runneth over}

that's as far as he wanted to go
and i shoved him in to that point

i have a friend, Chris, that is amazing at henna!
check out her work here, here, here, here and here!
luckily for me, i got to have some of her awesome work done on me this summer
and i loooove it!

love a good mustache! :{)

how is this possible??

mountain of clean clothes
unfolded, crazy, wrinkled

PILES of dirty laundry

all on the same day??
i hate laundry.
